Service providers and peaks

The National Quality Framework (NQF) provides a national approach to regulation of the quality of education and care services across Australia, and impacts your work supporting children’s development and learning.

The 2019 NQF Review aims to ensure that the National Quality Framework is current, fit-for-purpose and implemented through best practice regulation, and you’re invited to share your experiences and expertise to inform government decision making.

The first phase of the NQF Review has now ended. During this next stage, the government will develop a Consultation Regulation Impact Statement (CRIS) which reflects the likely impact of any regulatory changes that have been considered as a result of the feedback from the NQF Review online survey. You will have a chance to review the statement and options and have your say on what changes should be implemented.

If you would like to find out more, read the Issues Paper or contact an NQF Review team member in your state/territory.
